  ELLISON & **DRY VALLEY RD** BOIL WATER NOTICE
DOWNGRADED TO WATER QUALITY ADVISORY
October 27, 2011

In consultation with Interior Health Authority (IHA) the Glenmore-Ellison Improvement District (GEID) has downgraded the BOIL WATER NOTICE (BWN) for the Ellison & DRY VALLEY RD water users to a WATER QUALITY ADVISORY (WQA).

As a reminder, a WQA remains in effect for water users within the Glenmore and Ellison water systems. Water quality in these areas is considered FAIR due to elevated turbidity (cloudiness in the water). For FAIR ratings, IHA recommends that children (0-12yrs), the elderly (65+yrs) and people with weakened immune systems boil their water for one minute or seek a safe alternative. This ongoing WQA does NOT affect customers in the McKinley Landing Area.

Owners of public facilities must post Water Quality Advisories at all sinks or drinking water fountains accessible to the public (alternatively, public fountains and taps may be turned off). As opportunities arise, they must also advise their clientele verbally of the WQA.

Please be advised that ongoing monitoring and disinfection is being maintained throughout the GEID distribution system.
